What to expect
Dance & Strength: 50% dance 50% strength. Fun, simple, easy to follow choreography integrated with mat-based Pilates, light weights and active stretching. What to bring: 3 lb. hand weights, water, sneakers.
Sculpt &Tone: Beat-based cardio (no dancing), mat-based strength training using light weights, sliders, resistance bands, ankle weights and Pilates balls. What to bring: 3 lb. hand weights, water, sneakers.
Yoga mats are available at the studio, but you are welcome to bring your own
About the Class
Never do I feel freer or more grounded in my body than when I’m moving to great music in a room filled with the energy of others. Dance uniquely connects mind, body and spirit unlike any other form of exercise. In my class, the lights are turned down and the music is turned way up. We leave our worries at the door and our inhibitions on the dance floor. We release tension, we exhale into movement, we strengthen our minds and bodies.
We work hard and have a blast doing it!
